Okay, I've noticed that this information thread is long overdue. So I've taken the liberty to set it up now to lessen the questions. The staff will still entertain questions of course, this only serves to clear up a few facts about the board.

1. Level 5 Mutants - We haven't banned omega level mutants in the boards. As it is evident that we already have Phoenix and Iceman in the bunch. It's a matter of finding the rightful member whom we can trust enough to take up one.
As we all know, level five's can destroy a whole city in a matter of minutes and the world in a span of an hour(I'm not stressing, according to comics they can destroy the world in minutes). And they can affect the universe(directly or indirectly) in one way or the other. So we don't want everybody taking up a level five for the sheer kick of it. We have to see if the member is "worthy" of the power that will be granted to them.
2. Banned Powers - The staff(for now consisting of me and Christian) have decided that certain powers be banned from the site. It is needed to retain uniqueness to some canons with unique powers. Powers that are banned would be "power mimicry" (it is different with mimicry as mimicry copies skills and not powers), time travelling powers, mind control and weather manipulation.
We will also soon place a number limit to OC powers. We don't want 10 telekinetics or pyrokinetics running around now don't we? It'll be a tad boring and very frustrating to have everyone have the same powers.
3. Changing Alliances - yes! You may precisely do that. Though it must be done through RP but it is possible. It's one way to keep things very interesting. We have it on good faith that you'd come up with interesting enough plots(betrayal, revenge etc.) to change alliance.
This only applies to people who are usually freelance. Be convincing, Magneto wouldn't be an X-man or Storm wouldn't join the Brotherhood and vice versa.
4. Secondary Mutation - Again it is possible, you don't want to remain in your class level now would you? Once we see that your character has progressed enough and that you deserve a boost in Class Level(which includes an additional power), we will PM you.
So prove yourself worthy and do your best. Anything is possible in this site.
