Alright, we know that the X-men have had plenty of missions during the course of their founding. And nothing has changed even after many deaths. The world still needs saving and the X-men always step in to interfere whenever there's trouble that require their assistance.
Missions can range from fetching a mutant to saving one, small errands to major skirmishes. It will affect the plot in minor to major ways so always pay attention.
The ones who can join the thread depends on the mission given in the War Room by Ororo Munroe a.k.a Storm. Usually specific teams will be deployed(but seeing as we don't have enough, we will be deploying the one's who are taken). And specific members will be chosen for a variety of reasons.
Once you join a mission, make sure to be active on that thread because I tell you now that it won't stop on your behalf. What will happen if you were only able to post once and unable to post back in the duration of the mission?
One simple answer: You'll be held captive by the opposing force you go against in the mission. And the only way for you to escape and be up and about is that for you to either be rescued or escape by yourself. And please don't make it a habit, you wouldn't want not to be included in the next mission would you?
Non X-men members may also be a part of this, depending on the mission, and the ones allowed will be specified on the sidetable so don't fret. Just don't forget to read the briefing to know the X-men's objectives and the counterparts role.
