X-Men
Founded by Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men has continued to live out his legacy and dreams. The group intercedes to make sure that national security is maintained. Their ultimate goal is to be accepted and treated equally by the humans.
Morlocks
This band of mutants is founded by Callisto. Following her defeat in Alcatraz, Callisto retreated to the tunnels of New York and there found escapees from the recent failed battle. She rallied all the remaining mutants to her side and formed a group and named them Morlocks. This group is an equal to street gangs who prey on the weak and lesser mutants, doing what they want to do for survival without a care of morals.
New X-Men
They are considered the prodigies of the X-men, trained to take over once the current X-Men team retire. They have the same ideals but often times are ruled out by their attitude due to their youth. Only a few make it to this group as the professors review who has the potential to help someday.
Brotherhood
After the return of Magneto, this group of mutants is starting to rebuild itself and return to it's former glory. Their main goal oppose those of the X-Men which is to gain world domination.
Void
They have the same ideals as The Brotherhood of mutants but is under the supervision of Mystique. Ever since she regained her mutant power, Mystique took it upon herself to recruit mutants for her own cause. Contrary to Magneto, she makes sure that she treats the mutants "well" enough to make them putty in her hands.
Nomads
Coined from the term itself which means someone who continuously move about and without no permanent home. Mutants classified in this group are the ones who are unaffiliated and are independent. They have different agendas and mostly act to survive while some others hide and blend in with the humans. Their numbers far outnumber those of the other groups that is why most of them try to recruit those belonging in this…classification.
Humans First
A Human Rights group that has long since been set up to 'remove the mutant problem'. Several very rich and very powerful people run this group, making them all but untouchable. They solely funded the initialization of the Leech program, and sold it to the military for an even larger sum of money. They attack mutants both overtly and covertly; be warned. Tackling them head on will result in failure.
Center for Mutant Relocation
This group is a peace-loving organization of people and mutants who, very literally, help assign new lives to mutants who feel endangered or threatened by their current surroundings. Often victimized, they stand under fire from the Humans First organization, and more than one office has been bombed - figuratively speaking - by mutants who claimed affiliation to the Brotherhood. They have startlingly good results - people hidden away are rarely heard from again.
